When you start working with Scout, we conduct an onsite visit to get a full understanding of your company, environment, culture and current staffing needs. This deep dive helps us find qualified candidates who are not only technically qualified, but also a good personality match for your corporate culture.
It begins with a job description. We’ll draft a description that excites candidates about working for your company and helps them recognize what’s rare about your opportunity. We’ll then seek out both passive and active applicants—we won’t limit our search to people actively looking for a job, but will also identify and approach good candidates who are currently working elsewhere. This dual approach gives you the best possible range of prospective employees.
It’s easy to claim technical expertise on a resume, but it’s near impossible to maintain false credentials through Scout’s multiple phases of technical screening. While a candidate’s previous experience and interview skills certainly help our assessment, it’s our technical evaluation that yields only the very best candidates for your available position.
You’ve worked hard to create a culture that’s unique to your company and workforce. It’s our job to ensure that each prospective candidate who walks through your doors not only fits, but also adds to the environment that makes your organization special. We’ll conduct interviews, check references and perform personality inventories to find the right personality for your position. We’ll also identify key pointers to help you successfully onboard and manage potential candidates.
At this point, you can have as much or as little involvement in the process as you want. We’ll put together a candidate pool complete with resumes and bios written by our staff. If you like, we can conduct final interviews and make an offer for you. Either way, we’ll send you a comprehensive weekly update so you always know the work that we’re doing and what your money is going towards.
