Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be empowered with the latest tools and technologies to test and ensure a high quality suite of mobile and web based products and services to help drive and shape the future voice of small business across America for years to come. You will foster strong partnerships while collaborating directly with end users, business stakeholders, IT Operations, vendors, test leadership, and other functional peers, as you test and ship quality products. This position is located in our Nashville, TN office.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all issues are known before ship
- Will be expected to design and code test automation for multiple products and platforms
- Test cloud based products, services, and features for cross-browser and mobile shell support
- Operate as a pro-active, self-motivated, mature test professional in a fast-paced environment
- Develop test automation for product features and services, write Test Tasks, help identify and resolve bugs, issues, process improvement, and automation opportunities throughout the product lifecycle
- Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
- Work on tough problems and devise innovative methods to increase test efficiencies
- Test for performance, scalability, functionality, and user experience
- Design and develop automated end-to-end scenario regression tests
- Deliver on Scrum commitments and ensure stabile, quality product is shipped on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-Years’ experience in Test, writing C# test automation for various platforms
- Exposure or familiarity with ASP.NET Web API, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, MVC pattern, RESTful design, and T-SQL stored procedures
- Minimum 1-Year SCRUM experience and familiarity with the MSF for Agile Software Development template
- Strong customer focus and passion for improving engineering efficiencies
- High capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering processes quickly
- Ability to work both independently and collectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Innate analytical and problem solving skills with ability to gather, refine, and convert business requirements into testable units
- Able to accurately cost and prioritize multiple simultaneous test engineering tasks
- Experience with Test-driven development, Team Foundation Server, and MSBuild
- Good communication and cross-group collaboration skills
